Photos - The Archaeological Sites of Northern Peru

Hello to you all,

Yet again I've spent half my day scouring the streets for an internet cafe with both a DVD drive and Adobe Photoshop, the 2 items fundamental to me adding photos to my Blogsite. And yet again, you're so, so lucky because I found one - quite quickly too I might add (by the usual standards) as this is only the 12th internet cafe I had to ask at before I found what I wanted....

So anyway, here's a further bundle of photos starting in Trujillo, Peru and the start of all those mud pyramid visits right up until last week's trip on the "Devil's Nose Railway" which you don't yet know about!

01) The archaeological site of "Chan Chan" - an ancient city made of mud. I can't remember when exactly it was built but it was pre-Inca. This wall is in superb comdition.

02) Another wall. Very pretty... very brown... mud.

03) Another nice little carving on the end of a wall. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Ok, so it's a bird, just a strange looking one!
